MRS. BAYLA JACOBOVITZ
SENIOR LECTURER
Mrs. Bayla
Jacobovitz, a native of Brooklyn, New York, is an
alumna of Bais Yaakov Intensive Teacher’s Seminary.
Mrs. Jacobovitz served as an educator in the Ahiezer
and Magen David elementary schools in Brooklyn,
NY, and Yeshiva Beth Yehudah in Southfield, Michigan.
Upon moving to Oak Park, Michigan, she became a
co-founder of Machon L’Torah, the Jewish Learning
Network of Michigan, and serves as the director
of the Jewish Learning Network's women’s division.
Mrs. Jacobovitz has lectured nationally on various
topics for numerous groups such as Hadassah, ORT,
the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit, among many
others. Mrs. Jacobovitz was instrumental in developing
JAAM’s vision. She currently serves as a senior
lecturer at JAAM’s Maimonides Jewish Leaders Fellowship
program.
