RABBI AARON D. EISEMANN
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
ANN ARBOR DIRECTOR
Rabbi Aharon
D. Eisemann, lovingly known on campus as "Rabbi
E", is a native of Baltimore, MD and studied
at the Yeshiva Derech Chaim, Brooklyn, NY.
After his marriage to Tziporah, the couple settled
in New York, and Rabbi Eisemann served as the regional
director of JEP of Long Island, NY. He successfully
organized and directed a network of extracurricular
Jewish education classes for Jewish public school
students.
In addition to serving as JAAM's Assistant Director,
Rabbi Eisemann currently serves as the Director
of Machon L’Torah’s Jewish Resource Center, a facility
on campus at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor,
which serves the nearly 6,500 Jewish students enrolled
at the university, the Jewish faculty of the university,
and the members of Ann Arbor’s Jewish community.
Rabbi Eisemann assisted
Rabbi Jacobovitz in developing JAAM’s Maimonides
Jewish Leaders Fellowship. In his capacity as director
of the Jewish Resource Center in the University
of Michigan, he managed the fellowship's prototype
program, which serves as a model for other universities’
versions of the Maimonides Jewish Leaders initiative.
Rabbi Eisemann and
his lovely family currently reside in Oak Park,
Michigan.
