RABBI DOVID ZAUDERER
TORONTO DIRECTOR
Rabbi Dovid Zauderer, better known to all as “Rabbi Zee,” grew up in New “Yawk” City – the (second) homeland of the Jewish People. After devoting many years to the study of Torah as well as reading all the jokes he could get his hands on, he decided to become a funny Rabbi and to dedicate his life to teaching young Jews about the beauty and wisdom of Judaism – but not before meeting and marrying Ahuva, a nice girl from “Joisy” who lived a mere block away from the Rabbinical Seminary at which he was studying. Six years (and three kids) later, Rabbi
Z and the crew headed down to Atlanta to join the Atlanta Scholars Kollel,
a group of young, friendly rabbis devoted to spreading Torah and Jewish values all over the South. Two years ago, Rabbi
Z and family moved to Toronto – attracted by the city’s great hockey team and amazing weather – to head up the expanding Aish20’s program in the very “posh” Forest Hill.
Rabbi Z regularly teaches all about relationships, ethics, mysticism, etc. at his home and all around town, as well as giving an exciting Parsha class at the Village Shul every Shabbat morning. He also runs exciting trips to Israel, New York, and other fun places, and writes a very popular Torah e-mail message called “Z-mail” which he sends out to well over 400 students and young professionals all over
Toronto. Rabbi Z, Ahuva, and their five children live in Forest Hill, where their home is always open to
all young and interested Jewish singles who want to enjoy some warm Shabbat hospitality and can tolerate Rabbi
Z’s corny sense of
humor.
